These are the national traits that have enabled Israel to become one of the leading global players in high tech, life sciences, climate-tech, food-tech and defense-tech and one of the most resilient productive societies in the world.
On October 7th – due to the Hamas murderous terror attack and atrocities, Israel suffered a heavy blow, but we here in Israel are already recovering and will continue to recover. But... we need a little help from our friends to get past this period and get fully back on track and emerge even stronger than before.
Israel has been known for many years as “The Startup Nation” mostly for its high-tech industry – but also for it’s social entrepreneurs. One of the amazing aspects of the beginning of Israel’s recovery from October 7th has been how its young people have come together on their own initiative to assemble, staff and fund volunteer organizations that have been providing anything needed to the soldiers of the IDF, refugees from the evacuated South and North and other communities whose budgets are stretched.
But for someone from outside of Israel, who wants to donate and participate in this recovery, it is a bit challenging to find the real needs and right people to help meet those needs at the right time when those needs are actually needed.
That is where IS-Resilient – the Israel Resilience Network comes in.
We are a group of young social entrepreneurs along with Ayelet Shaked, a former senior Israeli cabinet minister and experienced donors who have come together to:

We at IS Resilient are applying those qualities to help our country quickly recover from the October 7th murderous atrocities and aftermath by:
Identifying and validating Israel’s most pressing Real Needs at any given time that may not be so obvious on the surface. Many of the needs of individual army units or small communities may not be easily identified by or accessible to larger charity, aid or support organizations.
Supporting and providing Real Solutions that solve the problem efficiently and professionally. We do extensive due diligence on list of potential solutions and select the best solution based on a combination of utility, deliverability and cost.
Delivering the solutions in Real Time quickly when they are most needed. We not only enable the purchase of the solution, but arrange delivery with our own personel or via our volunteer network as needed.
We along with our donor partners, are currently focusing on 3 specific areas during the current War period:
As the co-founders are very strongly connected to the mid & upper-mid officer decision-making levels of the IDF as well as the most senior levels via our Chairperson Former Minister Ayelet Shaked, we are able to very quickly to identify gaps due to the very fast reserve call up that need to be filled, and deliver critical equipment and solutions that meet the IDF’s specifications in order increase operational capabilities and protect soldiers’ lives. Many of these opportunities may not be covered, identified by or accessible to larger charity, aid or support organizations.
In the short term, the fund provides support to the Israeli home front to ensure victory. In recent weeks, since the beginning of the fighting, we have been giving considerable support to many women who are forced to stay alone at home while their husbands are at the front. Since the start of the fighting, we have sent hundreds of packages to the families of the fighters and planned events for women that allowed those in the rear to get some air and provide the necessary support from home to the hundreds of thousands of fighters in the field.
Utilizing the same municipal and local council relationships as noted above, we are a resource for specific requests to support local community security needs that have emerged as a result of the post October 7th increased national security needs and expenditures. As noted above, Many of these opportunities may not be covered, identified by or accessible to larger charity, aid or support organizations
